Your First Visit: What to Expect
The Regenesis MD New Patient Process
We get it — walking into a new medical practice for a treatment you've been researching online can feel uncertain. You've probably read conflicting information, seen clinics that seem more like sales operations than medical practices, and you're wondering if this is different.
Here's exactly what happens when you become a Regenesis MD patient. No surprises.
Step 1: Initial Consultation (45-60 Minutes)
This isn't a quick in-and-out appointment. Your first visit is a genuine medical consultation with time allocated for Dr. Vaidya or a member of her clinical team to understand your complete health picture.
- •Complete health history review — current medications, past treatments, surgeries, family history
- •Your specific goals — whether that's pain recovery, weight management, anti-aging, cognitive performance, or hormone optimization
- •Lifestyle factors — sleep quality, stress levels, exercise habits, nutrition
- •Current symptoms mapped against potential root causes
- •Honest conversation about whether peptide therapy is appropriate for your situation (sometimes it isn't, and we'll tell you that)
You'll leave this appointment understanding the options available to you and the reasoning behind any recommended approach.
Step 2: Comprehensive Lab Work
We don't prescribe based on symptoms alone. Your treatment protocol begins with data.
- •Complete metabolic panel (CMP)
- •Thyroid panel (TSH, T3, T4, reverse T3)
- •Hormone levels (testosterone, estradiol, DHEA-S, cortisol)
- •Inflammatory markers (CRP, homocysteine)
- •Lipid panel
- •Vitamin D, B12, and key micronutrient levels
- •Additional markers based on your specific concerns
Lab work can be completed at our Raleigh office or at a lab near you. Results typically return within 5-7 business days.
Step 3: Protocol Design & Review
Once your lab results are in, Dr. Vaidya reviews every marker personally — not a nurse, not a PA, not an algorithm. She identifies patterns, deficiencies, and imbalances that inform your personalized protocol.
- •What your labs reveal about your current health status
- •The specific treatment protocol she recommends and why
- •Expected timeline for results
- •Potential side effects and how they're managed
- •Pricing breakdown with no hidden costs
- •Your monitoring schedule moving forward
This is a two-way conversation. Ask every question you have. If you're not comfortable, there's zero pressure to proceed.
Step 4: Treatment Begins
If you choose to move forward, your first treatment session is scheduled. Depending on your protocol, this might include:
- •Peptide injections administered at our Raleigh clinic
- •Self-injection training (many peptide protocols involve daily or weekly home injections)
- •IV therapy sessions (NAD+, micronutrient infusions)
- •Oral supplements as part of a comprehensive plan
Every medication and compound is sourced from FDA-registered US compounding pharmacies with full chain-of-custody documentation.
Step 5: Ongoing Monitoring & Optimization
Treatment doesn't end when you walk out the door. Your protocol includes:
- •Follow-up labs at 6-8 weeks to measure your body's response
- •Dosing adjustments based on your data (not a fixed calendar)
- •Direct access to our clinical team for questions between appointments
- •Regular check-ins to assess progress against your goals
Most patients see measurable changes in their lab work within the first 8-12 weeks. Subjective improvements — energy, sleep quality, pain reduction, body composition — often begin earlier.
